"Behind Closed Doors" is a three-dimensional mixed media piece representing how we compartmentalize our emotions and keep to ourselves. We hide our true selves behind meticulously maintained facades, afraid to show our weakness through the cracks. Although we keep ourselves behind closed doors, our lights shine bright, reminding us that we are not alone in a city of imperfect people. The project is constructed from medium-density fiberboard, wood, acrylic paint, fake floral moss, and LED lights.
